Microsoft Edge Insider Channels are preview channels for the Microsoft Edge browser. Microsoft made a bold transition to the open-source Chromium development and as any browser using the Blink and V8 engines, Edge needs accurate testing.
Given the circumstances, the chances of bugs and issues being reported increased exponentially. Microsoft Edge Insider turned into a space where Microsoft can easily share their progress, introduce the latest features, reach out to users, and answer questions, with the ultimate goal being a nearly flawless product.
Microsoft Edge Insider channels include three preview channels – Beta, Dev, and Canary – and they currently are available on Windows 10, Windows Server, and Mac OS.
